Although the carriage has undergone many changes from year to year, it is still a versatile carriage because it can be used in a variety of ways. But before we get into that, we want to tell you about its quality.

We examined the carriage very closely when we shot the pictures shown below and we were pleased with what we found.

Not only does the carriage still have a heavy duty metal frame as it did in previous years, it also has quality fabric coverings and padded inserts for your baby doll. In addition, it now has a height adjustable handle with rubber grasp grips, safety locks, metal bracing and so much more!

But remember, no matter how terrific we think this carriage is...it is a toy designed for dolls. It is not to be used with a real baby nor should your child ever crawl into the carriage!

And while we are on the subject, it can hold baby dolls up to 20 inches. Although we shot the pictures with a fourteen inch baby testing the stroller, it can be used for the real big baby dolls too.

For those of you familiar with this carriage from prior years, we must mention again, Corolle changes the design of the carriage from year to year. This model functions as an old time traditional carriage (see the first picture on this page), it can also be used as a stroller (see the picture above this paragraph),  and it can even morph into a carry bed (see the picture below). 

Yes, the carriage can serve many functions...carriage, stroller and carry bed...but what we really like is the way it is made...STURDY! The carriage frame is made of heavy duty tubular metal. The wheels have a soft solid fill. And the fabrics are all properly reinforced at stress points.

The carriage handle can adjust to a variety of heights. At the lowest point, the handle is a mere eighteen inches from the ground...perfect for the youngest mommies or daddies. At its highest point, the handle measures approximately thirty one inches from the ground...a height which can even accommodate many adults!

Oh, we almost forgot...at the bottom of the carriage is a removable storage net, just like you find on a real baby's carriage.

Yes, there is a lot to Corolle's Classic Carriage!

As usual, we put the stroller through its paces here at Live And Learn. Our past experience has been that the supplied instructions are not the best (picture diagrams), but we have found the assembly to be pretty intuitive, easy and fast. The same holds true for this model as well. 

The carriage is collapsible for easy storage or to take on a trip to grandma's!

We suggest keeping the carriage's box for storage and traveling. Once you get the hang of setting up the carriage, you should be able to have it out of the carton and together in a minute or two!

The carriage is for baby dolls from twelve to twenty inches. We personally like Corolle carriages best with Corolle's seventeen inch baby dolls.

Please note, we only keep a limited number of carriages in stock. Availability of carriages will vary during the year depending on inventory levels both at the Live And Learn warehouse and the Corolle warehouse.
