When we attended the International Toy Fair in New York earlier this year we were looking for a new, high quality Asian doll to add to our web site. We wanted a doll that would be cherished by collectors, but also be functional as a play doll. Well, we saw hundreds of new dolls from companies the world over. But when we saw Madame Alexander's Picnic In The Park Asian Play Doll, we stopped in our tracks because this was the doll we were looking for!

Picnic in the Park Asian by Madame Alexander is a 14" Asian baby doll with black hair and very dark brown eyes.

She is exquisitely dressed in a pink shirt with puffed elbow length sleeves and a highly detailed floral print romper that has floral cotton ruffles on the sides and pink bows at the shoulders.

This Asian doll has soft body with vinyl hands and feet. She is part of the 2007 Madame Alexander Baby Alexander Collection. And although she is not a limited edition collector doll, she is considered both a play doll and a collectible doll.

In fact, she even comes with a special registration card in order to register the doll with the Madame Alexander.

To be certain your doll arrives in perfect condition, she comes to you carefully packaged and protected. Her face and hair is protected by a special hair/face net. Her hands and feet are protected in plastic wraping, and her body is secured to the beautiful gift box to ensure she doesn't shift and move during shipment.
