We spend a lot of time searching for unique, classic educational games for children of all ages. When we accidentally came across Uncle Wiggily, we were happily surprised!

This is a charming game. It follows Uncle Wiggily on a journey from his Hollow Stump Bungalow to Dr. Possum's office. Children will enjoy hopping their Uncle Wiggily movers along the winding path through the woods. The cards feature delightful rhymes taken right from the 1949 edition of Uncle Wiggily.

This an excellent first game for children. Play is very easy. Players draw cards and follow the simple rhymes to move or (if they're too young to read) match numbers and symbols. The first player to get their Uncle Wiggily mover to Dr. Possum's office wins the game.

Yes, the game play is easy. But games such as this one teach children to follow rules, how to take turns, it teaches numbers from one to a hundred, and it allows beginning readers to reinforce their skills.

Uncle Wiggily was created in 1910 by author Howard Garis for a series of stories he wrote for The Newark News. The stories were so successful they were nationally syndicated for decades to come.

A classic, learning game with old fashioned graphics which have wonderful appeal. This game, with its charming pictures lets children experience something artistically different from the too many current computer generated graphics they see everyday.
