COWBOY GUITAR 
This toy guitar is a wood guitar with tunable nylon strings! We spent a long time searching for a nice, wooden toy guitar that played like a real guitar, but was reasonably priced. This is not a first guitar for a child ready to take lessons, or to really learn how to play the guitar (although it can be tuned and actually be played), but it is really for a younger child that wants a toy guitar and is not ready for a more expensive real guitar. This guitar is a small guitar. It is scaled down to fit a child's small hands and body. It is approximately 20 inches in length. It has nylon strings, a solid wooden neck, and a glossy body. It comes with extra strings, a pick and tuning instructions. PLEASE NOTE--For this guitar to keep the tune after tuning you must tighten the phillips heads screws embedded in the pegs on the the back of the guitar until the pegs remain tight. 
Jack, our child tester, seriously playing his guitar! Pictured above is Jack, one of our child testers. He was given a guitar to test and to take home and keep. After 2 months his father contacted us and wrote: This guitar is perfect for Jack. At three, Jack is very excited to play his "real" guitar that looks and sounds like the guitar his music teacher uses. He loves it and plays his guitar for 10 - 30 minutes at a time singing every song he knows and making up a few new ones along the way. The thing about most small guitars that play like a real guitar on the market is they are far too expensive to give to a 3 year old as a toy ($50 - $100), but this one at $21.95 is just perfect. Jack loves his guitar, but he's still a three year old boy. He drops it, he bangs it into walls, and he sometimes carries it by the strings. This guitar is well constructed and has taken a lot of abuse. Although it is now scratched, and I know he will eventually break it, I won't have a heart attack that he broke something very expensive. To be sure, this guitar is not indestructible. Jack has beaten it up quite a bit over the past 2 months, and Daddy made the mistake of over tightening the strings, which stripped the screws that hold the string bracket in place. I had to use wood glue and bigger screws to put it back together, so you do still need to be careful or it may break. But at this price point, this guitar is worth every penny! 
Jack is on his way to give a performance! Please note, guitars cannot be returned. But don't worry, a guitar damaged in transit will be replaced. Additional note, the box of the guitar states ages 8 and up. This guitar is really for a much younger child. We believe 3 to 6 is the correct age for a guitar of this size. Although an older child may love it too, at seven or eight years old most children will want a a slightly larger and more real looking guitar (see choices below). But if you just want to test the waters with an older child, then this guitar fits the bill as well. Cowboy

It has nylon strings, a solid wooden neck, a highly polished body, a plastic pick guard, metal machine heads, raised metal frets and white dot position markers.  Included with the guitar is an easy-to-follow instruction booklet and a set of color coding markers. You can place the color markers on the guitar (directions are in the instruction book) and then your child can use the booklet's easy to follow color coding system to learn where to put their fingers to play songs.

Real Half Size Guitar
SOLID BODY ELECTRIC GUITAR  The electric guitar we are featuring is not a cheap, make believe toy guitar. It is a fully functional, solidly built authentic instrument made by one of the best known musical instruments companies in the world...Hohner! This guitar is a half size guitar, which means it is scaled down to fit a child's small hands and body. The guitar measures about 30 inches from top to bottom. The width of the neck graduates from about 1- 3/4 inches at the top of the neck to about 2-1/4 inches at the body. The distance between frets is a respectable 1 inch at the top of the neck and slowly diminishes to about 1/4 inch at the body. Because of the wonderful neck width and fret spacing this guitar is playable by children of all ages...even an adult could finger this guitar properly! This guitar has a beautiful, solid wooden neck, a highly polished body, a plastic pick guard, metal machine heads, raised metal frets, dot position markers, solid electronics, a precise volume control and a glitch free cord input.  
Available in black or red version! The action on the guitar is low and easy, which means that a beginning student will find it easy to form chords on it. And it is built to take the abuse a child will put it through. Sure it may scratch after time, but the mechanics (the parts which really matter) such as the bridge, neck, pickup, tuners and frets will hold up very, very well. Below are some larger shots of the guitar so you can get a good look at its remarkable construction! 
The storage/carry bag is well made and has a zippered pouch to store an instruction book, extra strings, picks and other accessories! But wait, there's more...we also include a guitar strap, mini amp and hookup cord! An electric guitar is nothing if you don't have a guitar amp, so we also include a mini starter amp. We will be honest with you..the amp is functional, but it isn't a wall shaking powerhouse (parent's will love it). It is a very small mini amp to get a beginner started. Yet, it does have a suprisingly nice sound for its size and even has an overdrive switch so the young rocker can get a fuzzy rock star sound.  The amp runs on one nine volt battery (not included) or you can plug it into an a/c power adapter (also not included). The amp even has a belt clip so your superstar can play the guitar and be on the move! Overall, you can't go wrong with this wonderful electric guitar package.
