Construction Details: Many places sell this or similar toys, but fail to provide all of the facts. Here are the details of this terrific item...the wooden dollhouse is a single piece unit. Although it is considered a wooden dollhouse, certain parts such as the window frames and staircase are made of plastic. Much of the house is painted (with a child safe, non toxic paint of course), but some of the surfaces such as the flooring are covered with decorated overlays. And the furniture is a combination of hand crafted wooden pieces and plastic pieces.

This item meets or exceeds all U.S. testing standards and is certified to be non-toxic and child safe!
