Thank You For Voting Us One Of The Web's Best Online Toy Stores! MADELINE PICTURE BOARD Members of our Madeline Newsletter have already begun sending us pictures and letters to share. We hope you will contribute also! Complete details for submitting material (and for joining the Madeline Newsletter) can be found at our Madeline Update Page. Currently, we are featuring a number of our friends from the United States and one long time pal from across the boarder in Canada. We begin with pictures sent to us by our good buddy (and fellow Survivor fan) Susan, from Florida. FROM OUR FRIEND SUSAN
Below is Madeline at 3-1/2 with her younger sister Sophie Ann (3 month old) enjoying a Halloween evening at home after trick-or-treating.
Susan, your daughters are precious! FROM OUR FRIEND SHANNON Shannon's daughter, Traleena, wanted to send us a picture of her Madeline Birthday cake. But her birthday was more than six months away! Since Traleena couldn't wait for her birthday, "dad and nanny got a Madeline cake for their birthday" Shannon told us. Below is the scrumptious Madeline cake...wish we had a piece to taste right now!
FROM OUR FRIEND LISA
This first picture features Emybeth with a rare 1994 limited edition Christmas Madeline.
Emybeth has so many Madeline dolls they no longer fit on her shelf. New Madeline dolls are now lined up on the floor around the room!
If you take a close look at the print hanging on Emybeth's wall you will notice that there is a Madeline doll sitting on the night table. What a find for a Madeline fan! FROM OUR GOOD PAL ADA
Ada also sent us some videos which shows a 360 degrees view of her Madeline Room. It is awesome! FROM OUR FRIEND DEBBIE Dinner was held at Disneyland's Club 33. Club 33 is a private, very expensive, very wonderful club/restaurant. Madeline had dinner there in June as a special guest of Club 33 members Annemarie and Kevin.
Please don't ask us about the outfit Madeline is wearing above. (Or the outfit Miss Clavel is wearing below.) We believe they are special designs by Debbie. We do not have either one for sale. By the way Debbie, where do you get these terrific outfits? Or is that a special secret?
Pictured above is another photo Debbie sent us. Debbie likes to call this picture "Miss Clavel's Dream". She hoped that we would enjoy seeing it...WE LOVED SEEING IT. We hope you do too. Thanks Debbie! FROM OUR FRIEND KIMBERLY ![]() Our friend Kimberly sent us the picture shown on the left with the following email message. "I'm attaching a jpeg file of my daughter. My mother has each of my children's studio portrait done for their 4th birthday. Mykiah (my daughter) wanted to have her favorite friends, Madeline and Genevieve, in the picture with her. It turned out great! Live and Learn helped Santa out last Christmas... I don't know how I'll top it this year!" Thanks Kimberly!
![]() This has to be our youngest Madeline fan. Born in 1998, this picture,
of Madeline, was taken when she was only 5 months old! In her hand you
see a pajama Madeline doll.
Mary (age 40+) is a serious collector of all things Madeline. She began collecting in 1991 when she received a Madeline from her good friend Laura. When Mary and Laura planned a trip to Canada later that year, they decided to take Madeline along (so she could visit her people in French Quebec). Pictured below is Madeline buckled for safety at the start of their trip to Canada!
The Canadian trip marked the beginning of Mary and Laura taking Madeline along on various trips as their travel mascot! This Madeline has even been to Europe!!! Here she is posing for a picture in Paris with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
Mary told us "one of the things that I have always found so interesting about Madeline and Paris and France and Europe in general is the fact that the children over there for the most part have not heard of her." What a shame!
We thank our current contributors for their submissions. And make sure you check back soon for new additions to the Madeline Picture Board. We have a lot to add, but please be patient. It will take us a while before this page is completed! Your friends at Live And Learn! We have more Madeline than any other web site! |
