This special collector's Madeline Doll is officially called the Lissy Madeline Trunk set. It will be  made by Madame Alexander and is a limited edition. Only 500 pieces will be produced for distribution in August 2008.

The set includes extremely well made, high quality accessories. Besides the trunk and the 12 inch Madeline doll in her blue coat and yellow hat outfit, you get a party dress with coordinated shoes, and all of the additional finely tailored outfits shown above.

Granted, this has the Madame Alexander look, but if you are a serious collector of Madeline, this is a version of Madeline that is going to be very rare and will enhance a collection. Since Madame Alexander dolls are revered by doll collectors in general, not just Madeline fans, this version has added value that should appreciate in time.

When this doll is released in August it will be extremely hard to find since only 500 are being manufactured and many of them have already been presold. We presold quite a few to our newsletter members at a special newsletter price (it pays to join our newsletter--our special newsletter prices are great, and there will be more great deals coming soon).

Although we can't offer the same great newsletter deal anymore, we are offering you the opportunity to reserve a doll now. We doubt there will be any available at holiday time, when most people will be wanting one, and those that will be available will most likely sell way above suggested retail.

But right now you can reserve your Limited Edition Madeline doll by placing a non-refundable deposit of $50.00 and paying the $200.00 balance when the doll ships in August/September. The total cost of $250.00 is for the doll, outfits, storage case and all shipping costs.

We understand a $50.00 non-refundable deposit is very high, but this is a very special opportunity to purchase a unique limited edition Madeline doll, and we need to know you are a serious buyer. You can wait until holiday time to purchase the doll, but we doubt there will be any available to purchase since only 500 will be manufactured.

If you order now, we will apply the $50.00 non-refundable deposit charge now, and apply the charge for the balance when the doll ships in August/September. In the event we receive more orders than we can fill your deposit will be returned.

If we cannot get our full allotment of dolls, we will fill the orders we receive in the sequence we received them, so order sooner rather than later to better ensure you will get one. We will personally notify you of your order status periodically.

Please remember, once ordered, we cannot refund your deposit. So please make your decision wisely. Do not place an order if you have any doubts. Once ordered, your deposit is non-refundable.
