CPSC, Petters Consumer Brands LLC Announce Recall of Batteries Found In Polaroid Portable DVD Players
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Petters Consumer Brands LLC, of Minnetonka, Minn. is voluntarily recalling about 165,000 Battery packs used with Polaroid-brand portable DVD players. The battery can overheat and melt the plastic case while recharging, posing a fire and burn hazard to consumers.

CPSC, Recreational Equipment Inc. Announce Recall of Childrens Bicycles
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Recreational Equipment Inc., of Kent, Wash. is voluntarily recalling about 2,800 Novara Dirt Rider 20-inch 5-speed and 6-speed bicycles. The alloy frame used for these bicycles can be prone to fatigue failure. Frame failure results in the separation of the fork, head tube, and handlebar away from the rest of the bike causing a loss of control and crash, and posing a risk of serious injury to the rider. 

CPSC, Family Dollar Stores Announce Recall of Spinning Star Christmas Tree Topper
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Family Dollar Stores, of Charlotte, N.C. is voluntarily recalling about 13,000 Spinning Star Christmas Tree Toppers. The tree topper can melt or smoke near the on/off switch, which could pose a fire hazard.

CPSC, Simplicity Inc. Announce Recall of Graco Branded Aspen Cribs for Suffocation Risk
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Simplicity Inc., of Reading, Pa. is voluntarily recalling about 104,000 Aspen 3 in 1 Cribs, sold under the Graco Trademark. The screws on the wooden mattress support can come loose allowing a portion of the mattress to fall, posing a suffocation hazard to young children.

CPSC, Advantage Publishers Group Announce Recall of Childrens Books
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Advantage Publishers Group, of San Diego, Calif. is voluntarily recalling about 41,000 Childrens Books. If the clear plastic container is removed from the books back cover or breaks, young children can access the beads in it. This poses a choking hazard to young children.

CPSC, Maxim Enterprise Inc. Announces Recall of Mini Learning Cube Toy Sold at Target
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Maxim Enterprise Inc. of Lakeville, Mass., and Target of Minneapolis, Minn., are voluntarily recalling about 12,000 Little Tree Mini Learning Cubes. Small wooden pegs in the top corners of the toy can come loose posing a choking hazard to young children. 

CPSC, Celebrate Express Inc. Announce Recall of Magic Party Favors and Costume Shield
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Celebrate Express Inc., of Kirkland, Wash. is voluntarily recalling about 21,100 magic party favors and 25,500 costume shields. The magic party favors and the dragon ornament on the shield could break or crack, exposing sharp points that present a possible laceration hazard to children. 

CPSC, American Honda Motor Corp. Announce Recall of All-Terrain Vehicles
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), American Honda Motor Corp. Inc., of Torrance, Calif. is voluntarily recalling about 24,000 Honda Model Year 2005 and 2006 TRX400EX ATVs. A safety defect could exist in the transmission that could allow the rider to downshift from 1st gear into reverse without operating the reverse assist (lockout) lever. The reverse lockout spring may not have been properly installed. Unintended engagement of reverse gear while moving forward could lock the rear wheels and cause the rider to lose control. 

CPSC, Kids II Inc. Announce Recall of Doorway Baby Jumpers
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Kids II Inc., of Alpharetta, Ga. is voluntarily recalling about 14,000 Bounce Bounce Baby! Door Jumpers. The plastic clamp that attaches the jumper seat to a door frame can break, which can cause the unit and child to fall to the floor. This poses an injury hazard to young children. 

CPSC, Chuck E. Cheeses Announce Recall of Plastic Siren Whistles
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Chuck E. Cheese's (CEC Entertainment), of Irving, Texas is voluntarily recalling about 144,000 Plastic Siren Whistles. The recalled plastic siren whistle's internal pieces can detach from the toy, posing a choking hazard to children.

CPSC, J & F Design Inc. Announce Recall of Girls Sleepwear Sold at J.C. Penney Stores
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), J & F Design, Inc., of Bell, Calif. is voluntarily recalling about 18,800 Bobby Jack pajama sets. These pajamas sets fail to meet the federal mandatory standard for flammability of children's sleepwear under the Flammable Fabrics Act. This poses a risk of burn injuries to children. 

CPSC, Kawasaki Motors Corp. U.S.A. Announce Recall of All-Terrain Vehicles
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A., of Irvine, Calif. is voluntarily recalling about 21,900 Kawasaki 2005 model year Brute Force ATVs. Tie rod separation caused by either wear or severe impact can occur during operation, causing the front wheel to separate from the steering control. Separation of the tie rod can cause the rider to lose control of the ATV, resulting in a serious injury or death to the rider.

CPSC, Ideal Distributors Inc. Announce Recall of Pacifiers
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Ideal Distributors Inc., of Chicago, Ill. is voluntarily recalling about 1,000 Cachito Pacifiers. The nipples can detach from the base, posing a choking hazard to young children.

CPSC, Stravina Operating Co. Announce Recall of Childrens Metal Necklaces and Zipper Pulls
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Stravina Operating Co., LLC, of Chatsworth, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 6 million childrens metal necklaces and zipper pulls. The recalled metal jewelry contains high levels of accessible lead in the metal and/or the paint, posing a serious risk of lead poisoning to young children. Lead is toxic if ingested by children and can cause adverse health effects.

CPSC, Delta Enterprise Corp. Announce Recall of Certain Cribs Sold at Toys R Us Stores
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Delta Enterprise Corp., of New York, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling about 335 Lovs Europa Natural Color Cribs. The crib's paint contains high levels of lead. Lead poisoning in children is associated with behavioral problems, learning disabilities, hearing problems and growth retardation. 

CPSC, Wal-Mart Stores Inc. Announce Recall of Toy Sets
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Wal-Mart Stores Inc., of Bentonville, Ark., is voluntarily recalling about 7,200 10-in-1 Activity Trunks by Kid Connection. Some of the toys in these trunks contain small parts, posing a choking hazard to young children. 

CPSC, International Playthings Inc. Announce Recall of Toy Vehicles
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), International Playthings Inc., of Parsippany, N.J., is voluntarily recalling about 6,000 Flexitoys Monster-Size Vehicles. Small parts can detach, which pose a choking hazard to young children. 

CPSC, International Playthings Inc. Announce Recall of Viking Chubbies Toy Cars
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), International Playthings Inc., of Parsippany, N.J., is voluntarily recalling about 1,900 Viking Chubbies Toy Cars. The heads on the figures sold with the cars can detach, posing a choking hazard to young 
children.

CPSC, Retailers Announce Recall of Waterless Vaporizers and Aromatherapy Diffusers
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), various retailers, including Wal-Mart, are voluntarily recalling about 10,000 Vapor-Eze Waterless Vaporizers and 5,000 Vapor-Eze Aromatherapy Diffusers. A defective internal heater in the recalled vaporizers and diffusers can cause sparking and emit flames while in use. This poses a fire, burn and shock hazard to consumers. 

CPSC, Sycamore Kids Inc. Expands Recall of Mountain Buggy Jogging Strollers
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Sycamore Kids Inc., of Fort Collins, Colo., is voluntarily recalling about 3,200 Mountain Buggy Urban Single and Urban Double, Breeze Strollers. The handlebar can crack or break causing the handlebar to detach while in use, posing a risk of injury to young children. 

CPSC, American Public Company Announce Recall of Boys Hooded Sweatshirts with Drawstrings Sold by J.C. Penney
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), American Public Co., of New York, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling about 3,400 Hooded Sweatshirt with Drawstrings. The hooded sweatshirts have drawstrings, posing a strangulation hazard to children. In February 1996, the CPSC issued guidelines to help prevent children from strangling or getting entangled on the neck and waist drawstrings of upper garments such as jackets and sweatshirts. 

CPSC, American Suzuki Motor Corp. Announce Recall of 2005 King Quad All-Terrain Vehicles
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), American Suzuki Motor Corp., of Brea, Calif.; Montgomery Motors Ltd., of Honolulu, Hawaii and Suzuki Del Caribe, Inc., of Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico., are voluntarily recalling about 19,600 Suzuki 2005 model year LT-A700XK5 King Quad ATVs. Use of an improper tie rod adjustment procedure during assembly could lead to separation of the tie rod end housing from the attachment shaft. This could cause the rider to lose control of the ATV and result in injury or death.

CPSC, American Greetings Corporation Announce Recall of Fairy Wand Party Favors
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), American Greetings Corporation, of Cleveland, Ohio, is voluntarily recalling about 14,200 DesignWare® Fairy Wand packages containing four wands each. The fairy wand party favors can break apart, exposing sharp wires that pose a laceration hazard to children.

CPSC, Yamaha Motor Corp., U.S.A. Announce Recall of ATVs
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Yamaha Motor Corporation U.S.A., of Cypress, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 70,000 Yamaha Bruin 250, Bruin 350 4WD and 2WD, Big Bear 400, Kodiak 400, Kodiak 450, and Wolverine 450 ATVs. The protective boots covering the steering systems tie-rod ends (universal joints) on the recalled ATVs could be pinched during installation or adjustment, cutting a hole in the rubber. If this occurs, grease could escape, and contaminants such as sand or mud could get into the assembly through the hole, causing accelerated wear. This could result in abnormal steering free play. If the ATV continues to be operated without repair, the ball and socket portion of the tie-rod end could wear to the point that they separate, resulting in loss of steering control, which could cause a vehicle crash with injury or death.

CPSC, Dorel Juvenile Group USA Announce Recall to Repair Battery-Powered Ride-On Vehicles
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Dorel Juvenile Group USA, of Columbus, Ind., is voluntarily recalling about 141,000 Battery-Powered Ride-On Vehicles. An electronic malfunction can occur in the ride-on vehicles circuit board and/or battery connector, resulting in smoking and melting of components. This poses a vehicle fire hazard and a burn hazard to consumers if components are touched while malfunctioning. 

CPSC, Delta Cycle Corp. Announce Recall of Picasso Two-Bike Folding Racks
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Delta Cycle Corp., of Foxboro, Mass., is voluntarily recalling about 3,500 Picasso Two Bike Folding Racks. The bike racks do not have sufficient hardware to support its weight on the wall. This can cause the bike rack to unexpectedly fall, hitting a nearby consumer.

CPSC, Target Announce Recall of Jumbo Pencils with Sharpeners
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Target Corp., of Minneapolis, Minn. is voluntarily recalling about 176,000 jumbo pencils with sharpeners. The sharpeners razor blade is exposed when the cover is removed. Also, the pencil sharpener hole is large enough to allow a finger to fit inside. This poses a laceration hazard to children and adults.

CPSC, Child Craft Industries, Inc. Announce Recall of Cribs
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Child Craft Industries Inc., of New Salisbury, Ind. is voluntarily recalling 155 Child Craft Cribs. A wooden strip added to the end assemblies of the crib to correct a spacing problem could come loose, creating a space in violation of the federal crib standard and posing a risk of entrapment. In addition, the three pin nails used to hold the strip in place pose a laceration hazard if the wooden strip detaches.

CPSC, Polaris Industries Inc. Announces Recall of Snowmobiles
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Polaris Industries Inc., of Medina, Minn. is voluntarily recalling about 16,640 Polaris Snowmobiles. The fuel tank filler neck on these snowmobiles can crack. A crack in the filler neck area may cause the filler neck to separate from the fuel tank. A crack or filler neck separation may allow fuel or fuel vapors to escape from the fuel tank, posing a fire hazard. 

CPSC, Kelty Announce Recall of Speedster Jogging Stroller
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Kelty Division of American Recreation Products Inc., of Boulder, Colo. is voluntarily recalling 230 Kelty Speedster Jogging Strollers. Stroller handle-locking clips can unlock during use, causing stroller to collapse.

CPSC, Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. Announce Recall of All-Terrain Vehicles
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Bombardier Recreational Products Inc., of Valcourt, Providence of Quebec, Canada is voluntarily recalling about 275 Bombardier Outlander 800 H.O. XT ATVs. The drive pulley inner flange could break resulting in the broken flange fragments becoming a projectile. This situation could cause serious injuries or death to the rider or bystanders.

CPSC, Adjmi Apparel Group Announce Recall of Reebok Childrens Fleece Pullover/Pant Sets
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Adjmi Apparel Group, of New York, N.Y. (Adjmi is an authorized licensee of childrens apparel products of Reebok, of Canton, Mass.) is voluntarily recalling about 61,000 Reebok Childrens Fleece Quarter-Zip Pullover/Pant Sets. The zipper slider and pull on the fleece pullovers can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.

CPSC, Douglas Company Announce Recall of Plush Toys
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Douglas Company, of Keene, N.H. is voluntarily recalling about 1,100 Sparkle Horse Toys. Beads of glitter glue on the colored ribbons could detach and pose an aspiration hazard to young children. 

CPSC, Bradshaw International Inc. Announce Recall of Bottle Sipper Caps
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Bradshaw International Inc., of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. is voluntarily recalling about 500,000 Bottle Sippers Pull-Up Bottle Caps. The pull-up valve can detach from the cap, posing a choking hazard to young children.

CPSC, Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. Announce Recall of Certain AC Adaptors Sold with Slim Version PlayStation® 2 Systems
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc., of Foster City, Calif. is voluntarily recalling about 843,000 AC Adaptors sold with slim version PlayStation® 2 Systems. The recalled AC adaptors can overheat and melt. This poses the risk of fire, burn and shock injuries to consumers. 

CPSC, Pottery Barn Kids Announce Recall of Spindle Cribs
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Pottery Barn Kids, of San Francisco, Calif. is voluntarily recalling about 7,600 Spindle Cribs. The spindles on the cribs front rail can loosen and detach from the rail. This can allow the child to fall from the crib and poses a risk of entrapment. 

CPSC, Atico International USA, Inc. Announce Recall of Childrens Arm Band Pool Floats Sold at CVS Stores
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Atico International USA, Inc., of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. is voluntarily recalling about 480,000 pairs Surf Club Arm Bands. The seams of the inflatable arm bands can tear, causing them to deflate. This poses a drowning hazard to young children. 

CPSC, World Wide Cycle Supply Inc. Announce Recall of Bicycles Sold at Toys "R" Us
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), World Wide Cycle Supply Inc., of Islandia, N.Y. is voluntarily recalling about 25,000 Harley-Davidson 16-inch BMX Bicycles. The fork that holds the front wheel can separate at the weld, causing the rider to fall and suffer injuries.

CPSC, Aqua Scout Announce Recall of Aqua Scout Water Scooters
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), MyDigitalDiscount.com Inc. and Aqua Scout, of Minetto, N.Y. are voluntarily recalling about 475 Aqua Scout Water Scooters. Hydrogen gas can build up in the battery compartment and cause the battery cover and the battery package to forcefully expel from the product, posing a risk of injury to the user or bystanders.

CPSC, American Greetings Corp. Announce Recall of Sesame Street Sunglasses
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), American Greetings Corp., of Cleveland, Ohio is voluntarily recalling about 120,000 Sesame Street Toy Sunglasses. The lens in the sunglasses can separate from frames, posing a choking hazard to young children.

CPSC, Walt Disney World Co. Announce Recall of Childrens Red Sunglasses
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, LLC of Lake Buena Vista, Fla. is voluntarily recalling about 12,900 Red Sunglasses/Toddler Cap Sets. The paint on the red sunglasses contains high levels of lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.

CPSC, Target Announce Recall of Back Trails Jr. Bicycle Helmets
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Target, of Minneapolis, Minn., is voluntarily recalling about 494,000 Back Trails Jr. Toddler, Youth and Child Bicycle Helmets. Some of these helmets do not meet CPSC safety standards for bicycle helmets, which poses a risk of riders suffering head injuries.

CPSC, Hidden Hills Productions, Inc. Announce Recall of Floor Mat Map Games
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Team WorldWide Corp., of Taipei City, Taiwan and Hidden Hills Productions Inc., of Westlake Village, Calif., are voluntarily recalling 140 Maptangle World Edition Floor Mat Map Games. The orange paint on the floor mat maps contains excess levels of lead. Lead poisoning is a serious hazard to children and is associated with behavioral problems, learning disabilities, hearing problems and growth retardation.

CPSC, ZoloWear Announce Recall of Infant Carriers/Slings
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), ZoloWear Inc., of Austin, Texas, is voluntarily recalling about 177 ZoloWear Infant Carriers/Slings. The stitching that attaches the webbing to the carrier/sling can break, posing a fall hazard to young children.

CPSC, Stork Craft Manufacturing Inc. Announce Recall of Toy Boxes
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Craft Manufacturing Inc., of Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, is voluntarily recalling about 3,300 Stork Craft Toy Boxes. The toy box's lid support can fail, allowing the lid to collapse suddenly. This poses a strangulation hazard to young children, and possible impact injuries to a child's head, neck, fingers or hands.

CPSC, Almar Sales Co. Announce Recall of Childrens Watches
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Almar Sales Co. Inc., of New York, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling about 50,400 Water Watches. The band on the watch contains liquid petroleum distillates. If punctured the watch band could leak. Petroleum distillates could be harmful if ingested and cause irritation to the skin or eyes on contact. 

CPSC, Torelli Imports Announce Recall of Bicycle Tires
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Torelli Imports, of Camarillo, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 1,100 Bicycle Tires. The tire can separate from the wheel, resulting in a flat tire. This can cause the rider to lose control and fall. 

CPSC, The Gymboree Corp. Announce Recall of Baby Sandals
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), The Gymboree Corp., of San Francisco, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 5,600 Caroline Flower Baby Sandals. A plastic flower attached to the sandals can pull or snap off, posing a choking hazard to young children. 

CPSC, Ritchey Design Inc. Announce Recall of Bicycle Wheels
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Ritchey Design, of San Carlos, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 2,000 Ritchey WCS - Protocol, Carbon, DS, DS Aero, Girder models (all rear wheels only). The hub in the bicycles rear wheel can fail to engage properly, causing no resistance when pedaling. The bicycle rider can lose balance, fall and suffer injuries.

CPSC, Kelty Announce Recall of Speedster Jogging Strollers
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Kelty Division of American Recreation Products Inc., of Boulder Colo. is voluntarily recalling 349 Kelty Speedster Deluxe and Speedster Deuce Jogging Strollers. The stroller handle can disconnect from stroller frame during use.

CPSC, American Classic Announce Recall of Bicycle Wheels

The hub in the bicycles rear wheel can fail to engage properly, causing no resistance when pedaling. The bicycle rider could lose balance, fall and suffer injuries. 

CPSC, Kawasaki Motors Corp. U.S.A. Announce Recall of ATVs
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Kawasaki Motors Corp. U.S.A., of Irvine, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 155,000 Kawasaki Model Year 2001-2005 Prairie and Brute Force All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs). A significant impact to the front wheel of the ATV while the steering is fully turned to either side can result in suspension damage, wear, and an eventual loss of steering control that could result in injury or death. 

CPSC, WaveCrest Laboratories LLC Announce Recall of Electric Bicycles
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), WaveCrest Laboratories LLC, of Dulles, VA., is voluntarily recalling 110 TidalForce S-750 High Performance Electric Bicycles. The front and/or rear wheel can collapse, causing the rider to fall and suffer injuries. 

CPSC, Giant Bicycle, Inc. Announce Recall of Bicycles
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Giant Bicycle Inc., of Newbury Park, Calif., is voluntarily recalling 76 2005 Cypress and Sedona bicycles. The rear axle on the bicycle is harder than required by the manufacturers specification and could crack.

CPSC, Polaris Industries Announce Recall of 900 Fusion, 900 RMK, and 900 Switchback Snowmobiles
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Polaris Industries Inc., of Medina, Minn., is voluntarily recalling about 7,800 Polaris 900 Fusion 900 RMK and 900 Switchback Snowmobiles. There are three separate issues involved in this safety recall: The nut that fastens the upper control arm ball joint to the suspension spindle can loosen. If this occurs, continued operation could allow the spindle to break and release the upper control arm, posing a risk of loss of control of the vehicle. The fuel tanks can contact the chassis along the bulkheads leading to wear on the tank walls. This could pose a fuel leakage and possible fire hazard to consumers. The gasket sealing the fuel pump assembly to the tank can develop cracks. This poses a risk of fuel leakage and fire hazard to consumers. 

CPSC, Fourstar Group Announce Recall to Repair Kids Folding Chairs
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Fourstar Group Inc., of Hopkinton, Mass., is voluntarily recalling about 522,000 Kid's Folding Chairs. The chairs safety lock can fail, allowing the chair to collapse or fold unexpectedly. Childrens fingers can become caught or entrapped in the hinge and slot areas of the chair, posing a pinch or cut hazard. This can cause severe lacerations and finger tip amputations to childrens fingers.

CPSC, Idea Nuova Inc. Announce Recall to Repair Childrens Folding Chairs
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Idea Nuova Inc., of New York, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling about 1.1 million Children's Folding Chairs. The chairs safety lock can fail, allowing the chair to collapse or fold unexpectedly. Childrens fingers can become caught or entrapped in the hinge and slot areas of the chair, posing a pinch or cut hazard. This can cause severe lacerations and finger tip amputations to childrens fingers. 

CPSC, Meco Corp. Announce Recall of Childrens Folding Chairs
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Meco Corp., of Greeneville, Tenn., is voluntarily recalling about 175,000 Juvenile Folding Chairs. Childrens fingers can become caught or entrapped in the hinge and slot areas of the chair, posing a pinch or cut hazard. 

CPSC, H&M Announce Recall of Baby Denim and Knit Jackets
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), H&M, of New York, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling about 750 Baby Denim and Knit Jackets. The metal buttons can come loose and detach from these garments, posing a choking hazard to young children.

CPSC, Radio Flyer Inc. Announce Recall of Toddler Walker Wagon
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Radio Flyer Inc. of Chicago, Ill., is voluntarily recalling about 38,000 Classic Walker Wagons. The tips of the clickers, which make a clicking sound when the Walker Wagon wheels move, can break off. The broken clickers pose a choking or aspiration hazard to young children.

CPSC, VisionTech USA, Inc. Announce Recall of Bicycle Aero Bars
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), VisionTech USA, Inc., of Auburn, Wash., is voluntarily recalling about 280 VisionTech USA SuperMax, TriMax, TriMax Plus and Pro model Integrated Bicycle Aero Bars. The centerpiece of these bicycle aero bars can crack or break, causing the bicycle rider to lose control and crash. 

CPSC, Target Announce Recall of Childrens Toy Trucks
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Target Corp., of Minneapolis, Minn., is voluntarily recalling about 17,400 So Hot Way Cool Free Wheel Trucks. Small parts could break off the truck, posing a choking hazard to young children. 

CPSC, Sycamore Kids Inc. Announce Recall of Mountain Buggy Jogging Strollers
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Sycamore Kids Inc., of Fort Collins, Colo., is voluntarily recalling about 2,200 Mountain Buggy Jogging Strollers. The handlebar can crack or break causing the handlebar to possibly detach while in use, posing a risk of injury to young children. 

CPSC, Pokémon USA Announce Recall of Pokémon Plush Toys
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Pokémon USA Inc. of New York, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling about 9,200 Pokémon Plush Toys. The stuffing of the toy may contain tips of sewing needles which could pose a puncture hazard. 

CPSC, Graco Childrens Products Inc. Announce Recall of Duo Tandem and Certain MetroLite Strollers
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Graco Childrens Products Inc., of Exton, Pa., is voluntarily recalling about 1 million Duo Tandem and about 143,000 MetroLite strollers. These strollers can fail to latch properly and unexpectedly collapse while in use. This can result in broken bones, cuts, bumps, bruises and other injuries to young children riding in the stroller and consumers pushing the stroller. 

CPSC, Dorel Juvenile Group Issue Alert on Safety 1st Tubside Bath Seats
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Dorel Juvenile Group, of Columbus, Ind., announced a warning today for parents and caregivers who purchased the Safety 1st Tubside Bath Seats. The company has sold about 250,000 units to date. The bath seats are not intended and should not be used with certain non-traditional or sunken bathtubs. In these types of tubs, the bath seat can break, tip over and a child can fall into the water. 

CPSC, Rolf Prima Inc. Announce Recall of Bicycle Wheels
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Rolf Prima Inc., of Eugene, Ore., is voluntarily recalling about 870 2003 Rolf Prima Vigor and Elan Bicycle Wheels (rear wheel only). The rear wheel freehub mechanism can malfunction causing no resistance when pedaling. The bicycle rider could lose balance, fall and suffer injuries. 

CPSC, HiPer Technology Inc. Announce Recall of ATV Wheels
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), HiPer Technology Inc., of Lawrence, Kan., is voluntarily recalling about 875 All-terrain vehicle (ATV) 9-inch wheels, with aluminum center section. The aluminum center section of the wheel can come apart causing the tire and rim to unexpectedly separate from the ATV, posing a risk of serious injury if the rider loses control of the vehicle.

Hydrogen gas can build up in the battery compartment and cause the battery cover and the battery package to forcefully expel from the product, posing a risk of injury to the user or bystanders.

CPSC, Polaris Industries Announce Expanded Recall of Select Model Year 2004.5 and 2005 ATVs
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Polaris Industries Inc., of Medina, Minn. is voluntarily recalling about 61,020 select Model Year 2004.5 and 2005 ATVs. Some 2004.5 and 2005 Model Year Sportsman, Scrambler 500 ATVs, Trail Boss and Magnum 330 ATVs were assembled with possibly defective Electronic Control Modules (ECM) which may fail and overheat which could possibly result in serious injury or death.

CPSC, FF Acquisition Wheeled Goods Corp. Announce Recall of Go-Karts
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), FF Acquisition Wheeled Goods Corp. of West Point, Miss. is voluntarily recalling about 10,000 Yerf-Dog Go-Karts. The suspension assembly can crack causing the rider to lose control of the go-kart. 

CPSC, Prestige Toy Corp. Announce Recall of Spinning Water Teethers
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Prestige Toy Corp., of New York, N.Y. is voluntarily recalling about 1,500 Spinning Water Teethers. The plastic spinner in the center of the teether can break, causing small beads to fall out. This poses a choking hazard to young children.

CPSC, Nashbar Direct Announce Recall of Bicycle Trailers
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Nashbar Direct, of Canfield, Ohio is voluntarily recalling 300 Nashbar 2005 Lil Shadow Tandem Trailers. The bicycle trailers can become unstable when changing directions due to incorrectly assembled hitch mechanisms, posing a risk of injury to the riders. 

CPSC, Shakespeare Fishing Tackle Division Announce Recall of Childrens Fishing Poles
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Shakespeare Fishing Tackle Division, of Columbia, S.C. is voluntarily recalling about 438,000 Children's Fishing Kits. The paint on the rods of these fishing poles contains lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects. 

CPSC, Kids II Inc. Announce Recall of Doorway Baby Jumpers
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Kids II Inc., of Alpharetta, Ga. is voluntarily recalling 29,300 Bright Starts Jammin Jumpers. The plastic clamp that attaches the jumper seat to a door frame can break, which can cause the unit to fall to the floor. This poses an injury hazard to young children.

CPSC, Wal-Mart Stores and Infantino Announce Recall of Fun Frog Soft Gyms
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Wal-Mart Stores Inc., of Bentonville, Ark. and Infantino LLC, of San Diego, Calif., are voluntarily recalling about 26,000 Baby Connection Fun Frog Soft Gyms. A cap on the wire supports inside the soft gyms upright arms can detach, allowing the wire to poke through the fabric. This poses a laceration and puncture hazard to babies. 

CPSC, Fisher-Price Announce Recall of Scooters and Mini Bikes
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Fisher-Price, of East Aurora, N.Y. is voluntarily recalling about 29,000 scooters and 5,000 mini bikes. If tires are over-inflated, the plastic rim within the wheel can break, causing the tire to rupture. This poses the risk of facial and hand injuries while inflating the tire.

CPSC, Razor USA Announce Recall of PowMax Battery Chargers Sold with Razor Electric Scooters, Motorcycles and Go Karts
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Razor USA LLC, of Cerritos, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 584,000 PowMax battery chargers sold with certain Razor battery-powered scooters and ride-on vehicles. The battery charger can overheat and cause minor burns when touched. Also, nearby items can become damaged by the hot chargers.

CPSC, Razor USA Announce Recall of Electric Scooters
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Razor USA LLC, of Cerritos, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 246,000 Razor Electric Scooters. A weld can break, causing the handlebar to detach from the scooter. This can cause the rider to lose control and fall from the scooter.

CPSC, Mintek Digital Inc. Announce Recall of Portable DVD Player Batteries
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Mintek Digital Inc. of Anaheim, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 116,000 portable DVD player battery packs. The battery can overheat and explode while recharging, posing a burn and fire hazard to consumers.

CPSC, Polaris Industries Announces Recall of Select Model Year 2004 and 2005 Snowmobiles
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Polaris Industries Inc., of Medina, Minn., is voluntarily recalling about 14,000 Polaris Snowmobiles.The fuel tank filler neck may develop a crack at the base where the filler neck meets the fuel tank assembly. This may cause the neck to separate from the fuel tank assembly and allow fuel to escape from the tank, potentially creating a fire hazard. 

CPSC, Delta Enterprise Corp. Announce Recall of Lovs Pacifiers
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Delta Enterprise Corp is voluntarily recalling about 180,000 Lovs Decorated Orthodontic Pacifiers. The pacifiers are banned under federal law. They failed federal safety tests when the nipples separated from the base. This poses a choking hazard to young children.

CPSC, Pamela Drake Inc. Announce Recall of Wooden Push Toys
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Pamela Drake Inc., of Emeryville, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 7,000 Lemon Meringue Wooden Push Toys. Small parts can break off posing a choking hazard to young children.

CPSC, Dollar General Corp. Announce Recall of Metal Heart-Shaped Pendants
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Dollar General Corp., of Goodlettsville, Tenn., is voluntarily recalling about 80,000 Heart-Shaped Pendants. The recalled heart-shaped pendant contains high levels of lead, posing a serious risk of lead poisoning to young children. Lead poisoning in children is associated with behavioral problems, learning disabilities, hearing problems and growth retardation.

CPSC, Bush Hog, LLC Announce Recall of Utility Vehicles
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Bush Hog LLC, of Selma, Ala., is voluntarily recalling about 300 Bush Hog Model TH 440 (Trail Hunter) Off-Road Utility Vehicles. The front suspension A-frame can break or separate from the front wheel and cause a loss of steering ability resulting in serious injury or death.

CPSC, Midwest Folding Products Announce Recall to Repair Optional Guard Rails on Standing Choral Risers
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Midwest Folding Products Inc., of Chicago, Ill., is voluntarily recalling about 7,000 Optional Guard Rails sold on Standing Choral Risers. Choral risers equipped with an optional guard rail can tip over under certain loading conditions, which poses a risk of injury from falling from the risers.

CPSC, Fisher-Price Announce Recall of Push Toys
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Fisher-Price, of East Aurora, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling about 54,000 Fisher-Price Lil Wagster Dragster push toys. A young childs chin, jaw, and teeth can get lodged in the opening at the top of the push toys round-shaped handle and incur injuries. 

CPSC, Fisher-Price Announce Recall of Pogo Sticks
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Fisher-Price, of East Aurora, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling about 154,000 Fisher-Price® Grow-To-Pro® Pogo Sticks. An internal metal pin can wear down, causing the pogo sticks to remain stuck in the down position and release unexpectedly, posing a risk of fall or facial impact injuries to children.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Simplicity Inc., of Reading, Pa., is voluntarily recalling about 575 White Lancaster Cribs. The white paint on the cribs can chip, posing a choking hazard to young children. 

CPSC, Polaris Industries Announces Recall of Select Model Year 2004.5 and 2005 Sportsman and 2005 Model Year Scrambler ATVs

The fuel petcock inserts were made with incorrect material that does not correctly bond the fuel tank and petcock insert, which could allow fuel leakage. If this occurs, a fire hazard with the possibility of injury and property damage could result.

CPSC, J.C. Penney Corp. Announce Recall of Childrens Bodysuits
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), J.C. Penney Corp., of Plano, Texas is voluntarily recalling 228,818 (56,922 newborn-size and 171,896 infant size) Okie Dokie® Striped Bodysuits with Puffy Appliqué. The appliqué can detach from the garment, posing a choking hazard to young children. 

CPSC, Royal Seating Ltd. Announce Recall of Childrens Chairs
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Royal Seating Ltd., of Cameron, Texas is voluntarily recalling about 46,000 Royal Seating Prima Chairs. The seat portion of the chair can detach from the leg base possibly causing a child to fall to the floor. 

CPSC, California International Trading Announce Recall of Pacifiers and Two Electronic Toys
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), California International Trading, of Los Angeles, Calif. is voluntarily recalling about 5,000 Light-up Pacifiers, New Style Piano Toys, and High Toys Choochoo Toy Trains. The pacifiers and toys can easily break apart, exposing small parts. This poses a choking hazard to young children.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), American Honda Motor Co. Inc., of Torrance, Calif. is voluntarily recalling about 200,000 Honda 2004-2005 FourTrax All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs). The steering rods can separate, causing the driver to lose steering control. This could cause the ATV to crash and pose a risk of serious injury or death. 

CPSC, Zebco Announce Recall of Childrens Fishing Poles
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), W.C. Bradley/Zebco Holdings Inc. doing business as Zebco, of Tulsa, Okla. is voluntarily recalling about 1.5 million Childrens Fishing Poles. The paint on the rods of these fishing poles contains lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.

CPSC, Wal-Mart Stores Inc. Announce Recall of Karaoke Cassette Player/Recorders
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., of Bentonville, Ark. is voluntarily recalling about 220,000 Nu-Tronix Karaoke Cassette Player/Recorders. The paint on the five control buttons of the karaoke player contains excessive lead, posing a lead poisoning hazard to young children. Lead poisoning in children is associated with behavioral problems, learning disabilities, hearing problems, and growth retardation.

CPSC, Baja Products Announce Recall of My First Crayon-Balls and My First Crayon-Ball Activity Sets
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Baja Products Inc. of Delray Beach, Fla. is voluntarily recalling about 145,000 My First Crayon-Balls and My First Crayon-Ball Activity Sets. Small crayon balls can break loose from the plastic base of the products. This can pose a choking hazard to young children.

CPSC, Solar Inc. Announce Recall of Flashing Toy Pacifiers
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Solar Inc. of Tappan, N.Y. is voluntarily recalling about 24,000 Flashing Pacifiers or 2-in-1 Flashing Pacifiers with Whistle Necklaces. The nipple can detach from the base, posing a choking hazard to young children.

CPSC, Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. and BRP US Inc. Announce Recall of DS650 ATVs
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Bombardier Recreational Products Inc., of Quebec, Canada, is voluntarily recalling 2,127 Bombardier DS650 ATVs. The rear axle bearings may have not been sufficiently greased. This may cause a breaking of the bearing which could make the ATV unstable. The operator could lose control of the vehicle which could cause injury to the operator.

CPSC, MGA Entertainment Inc. Announce Recall of Bratz Stylin Scooters
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), MGA Entertainment Inc., of Van Nuys, Calif., is voluntarily recalling Bratz Stylin Scooters . The wheels of the scooter can break or become damaged, and users of the scooters can fall and suffer injuries. 

CPSC, Arctic Cat Inc. Announce Recall of All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs)
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Arctic Cat Inc., of Thief River Falls, Minn., is voluntarily recalling Arctic Cat FIS and TBX Model ATVs. The fuel tank used on some all-terrain vehicles could develop a fuel leak. If this occurs, a fire hazard with the possibility of injury and property damage could occur. 

CPSC, Reebok, and Adjmi Announce Recall of Childrens Reebok Jacket and Pant Sets
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Adjmi Apparel Group, of New York, N.Y. (Adjmi is an authorized licensee of childrens apparel products of Reebok, of Canton, Mass.), is voluntarily recalling Reebok childrens windwear and fleece jacket and pant sets. The zipper slider and pull on the jackets can detach, if pulled when the jacket is open. The detached zipper slider and pull can pose a choking hazard to young children. 

CPSC, Thomson Inc. Announce Recall of Portable DVD Player Batteries
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Thomson Inc., of Indianapolis, Ind., is voluntarily recalling about 47,000 Portable DVD player batteries. The battery can overheat and explode while recharging, posing a burn and fire hazard to consumers. 

CPSC, Graco Childrens Products Announce Recall of Toddler Beds
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Graco Childrens Products Inc. of Exton, Pa., is voluntarily recalling Graco toddler beds. A childs arm, leg or foot can become entrapped between the slats in the guard rails or footboard. This can result in broken bones, sprains and other injuries to young children. 

CPSC, American Suzuki Motor Corporation Announce Recall of 2004-2005 Vinson and 2005 KingQuad All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs)
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), American Suzuki Motor Corp., of Brea, California, is voluntarily recalling about 30,000 Suzuki 2004-2005 model year Vinson and 2005 KingQuad ATVs. Water can enter the throttle lever case and freeze, causing the throttle lever to become stuck and fail to automatically return to the idle position when the rider releases the throttle. If the throttle lever does not automatically return to the idle position when the rider releases the throttle, the ATV will not slow down as the rider expects. The rider could lose control of the ATV and an accident resulting in injury or death could occur. 

CPSC, Skylighter Inc. Announce Recall of Musical Flower Birthday Candleholders
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Skylighter Inc., of Round Hill, Va., is voluntarily recalling about 120 candle holders. The center of the candle has an unexpected high flame and the plastic petals could ignite resulting in melting and dripping plastic. The ignited plastic could also spread to nearby combustibles and pose a fire hazard to consumers. The battery contained in the middle of candle could eventually explode. 

CPSC, Polaris Industries Announce Recall of 900 Fusion, 900 RMK and 900 Switchback Snowmobiles
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Polaris Industries, Inc., of Medina, Minn., is voluntarily recalling about 11,560 Polaris 900 Fusion 900 RMK and 900 Switchback Snowmobiles. The snowmobile wiring harness may be routed in a way that could disconnect the engine stop switch and the throttle safety switch connector. If this connector becomes unplugged, the engine stop and the throttle safety switches will no longer function. This could pose a possible crash hazard. However, the keyed ignition switch will continue to function and will shut down the vehicle when the key is in the OFF position. The thumb warmer and right-hand warmer could also become unplugged under these harness-routing conditions. 

CPSC, Kawasaki Motors Corp. U.S.A. Announce Recall of Kawasaki Prairie 700 ATVs
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., USA of Lincoln, Neb., is voluntarily recalling about 1,140 Kawasaki Prairie 700 4x4 all-terrain vehicles (ATVs). The age recommendation warning label is missing. Children under 16 years old riding these adult-size ATVs can suffer serious injury or death. 

CPSC, Bernat Yarn Announce Recall of Fur Out Yarn
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Spin Rite LP of Ontario, Canada, is voluntarily recalling About 730,000 1.75-ounce balls of "Fur Out" yarn. Fur Out yarn is flammable when used as the sole yarn in a garment. Garments constructed of Fur Out yarn are dangerously flammable when exposed to a flame, posing a burn risk to consumers. 

CPSC, CF Roark Welding & Engineering Announce Recall of Bicycle Frames
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), CF Roark Welding & Engineering Co. Inc., of Brownsburg, Ind., is voluntarily recalling 422 Titanium bicycle frame for road bicycles. The frames on these bicycles can crack and fail during use, posing a risk of injury to riders.

CPSC, Delta Enterprise Corp. Announce Recall to Repair Portable Cribs
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Delta Enterprise Corp., of New York, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling about 10,000 Portable Cribs. The crib slats can separate from the headboard, posing an entrapment risk to young children. In addition, children can fall through the slat opening. 

CPSC, J.C. Penney Corp. Announce Recall of Infant and Toddler Sweaters
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), J.C. Penney Corp., of Plano, Texas, is voluntarily recalling 57,000 Arizona® Boys Zip-Up Cardigan Sweaters. The zipper-pull mechanism can detach from the zipper, posing a choking hazard to children.

CPSC and QSP, Inc., Announce Recall of Flying Saucer Toys
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), QSP Inc., Pleasantville, N.Y. is voluntarily recalling 555 Battery-Powered Flying Saucer Toys. The Flying Saucer can overheat while charging, resulting in the plastic motor cover starting to melt, creating a risk of burns to children handling the toy.

CPSC, Ocean Desert Sales Inc. Announce Recall of Childrens Stuffed Yarn Bunnies
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Ocean Desert Sales Inc., of Philadelphia, Pa. is voluntarily recalling about 18,500 Stuffed Yarn Bunnies. The eyes can detach from the stuffed animal, posing an aspiration hazard to young children. Additionally, the heart and flower button decorations also can detach, posing a choking hazard.

CPSC, The Elegant Kids 2000 Inc. Announce Recall of Pacifiers
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), The Elegant Kids 2000 Inc., of Los Angeles, Calif. is voluntarily recalling about 34,500 Soother Baby Pacifiers. The pacifiers are banned under federal law. They failed federal safety tests when the nipples separated from the base and can pose a choking hazard to infants and small children.

CPSC, Lands End Announce Recall of Zipper Pulls on Childrens Outer Wear
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Lands End, of Dodgeville, Wis. is voluntarily recalling about 24,000 Lands End Infant and Toddler Squall Parkas, Sport Squalls, Squall Snow Suits and Squall Bibs. The rubber zipper pull-tab can be bitten off and may pose a risk of choking to young children.

CPSC, Tiffany and Company Announce Recall of Farm Teether Rattles
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), New England Sterling of Attleboro, Mass., for Tiffany and Company of New York, N.Y., is recalling about 3,700 Farm Teether Rattles. A metal bar on the rattle can break off during use, releasing small round beads and small farm animal figures that roll off the crossbar when the soldered joints break. The beads can pose an aspiration hazard to young children. The breakage also can create ragged edges on the ring, posing a laceration hazard.

CPSC, Dollar Tree Stores Inc. Announce Recall of Electronic Musical Toys
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Dollar Tree Stores Inc., of Chesapeake, Va. is recalling about 147,600 Toy Tunes Electronic Musical Toys. The ball on the end of the drumstick sold with these toys can break off during use, posing a choking hazard to young children.

CPSC, Cannondale Bicycle Corporation Announce Recall of Bicycle Suspension Seat Posts
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Cannondale Bicycle Corporation, of Bethel, Conn. is recalling about 1,480 1-X Bicycle Suspension Seat Posts. The seat posts may have been improperly manufactured, which could cause the seat post to fail prematurely. A failure could lead to a crack in the bicycle seat post, which may cause the rider to fall or crash. 

CPSC, Kolpin Powersports Announce Recall of Youth ATVs
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Amstrong Industry Corporation, Taiwan, R.O.C. is recalling about 1,000 90cc units and 39 50cc units of Kolpin Powersports 50cc and 90cc Youth All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs). Metal-flange locking nuts securing the tie rod assemblies, integral to the steering system on the Youth ATV, can come loose. The resulting unstable steering condition could result in serious injury or death to a rider. 

CPSC, Charles Products Announce Recall of Toddler Drinking Cups
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Charles Products, of Bethesda, Md. is recalling about 720 â€Maui Ocean Center†toddler drinking cups. A container inside the cup holds petroleum distillates, which can leak onto the outside of the cup and could come into contact with the user posing a poisoning hazard to children.

CPSC, GSI Commerce Solutions Announce Recall of Electric Scooters
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), GSI Commerce Solutions, doing business as Spartan Sports, of King of Prussia, Pa. is recalling about 4,300 electric scooters. A knob can loosen and cause the handlebar to detach from the scooter. Additionally, the folding joint lock on the model FS-101 scooter can break, causing the handlebars to release from the upright position. Both hazards can cause the rider to lose control and fall from the scooter.

CPSC, Dollar General Corp. Announce Recall of Dive Sticks
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), The Dollar General Corp., of Goodlettsville, Tenn. is recalling about 180,000 dive stick packages. Children can fall or land on these upright dive sticks in shallow water and suffer impalement injuries. CPSC banned pre-weighted dive sticks in 2001. 

CPSC, Wal-Mart Stores Announce Recall of Reef Rocker Infant Toys
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Wal-Mart Stores Inc., of Bentonville, Ark. is recalling about 54,260 Reef Rocker infant toys. The seam on the plastic balls can separate, releasing the small toy inside and posing a choking hazard to young children.

CPSC, HIS International Announce Recall of Jumper Sets
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), HIS International, of New York, NY. is recalling about 6,700 denim jumper sets. The paint on the buttons contains excessive lead levels, posing a lead poisoning hazard to young children. 

CPSC, Big Save International Announce Recall of Baby Walkers
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Big Save International Corp., of Los Angeles, Calif. is recalling about 12,000 baby walkers. The walkers fit through a standard doorway and are not designed to stop at the edge of a step. Additionally, these walkers can tip-over. Babies using these walkers can be seriously injured or killed.

CPSC, Shimano American Corp. Announce Brake Inner Cable Recall
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Shimano American Corp., of Irvine, Calif. is recalling about 13,630 Shimano Road Racing Bicycle brake inner cables. The bicycle brake cable can detach during braking, causing the rider to lose control and fall.

CPSC, Giftco Announce Recall of Fork in Winnie the Pooh Baby Plate Set
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Giftco, Inc. of Vernon Hills, IL, is recalling 26,157 Winnie the Pooh Plate Sets with plastic forks and spoons. The plastic fork prongs in the plate set can break posing a choking hazard to young children. 

CPSC, New Star Toys & Gifts Inc. Announce Recall of Toy Cars
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), New Star Toys & Gifts Inc., of Vernon, Calif., is recalling about 1,200 toy cars. Small parts can break off during use, posing a choking hazard to young children.

CPSC, Todo Dollar Wholesale Announce Recall of Pacifiers
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Todo Dollar Wholesale, of Los Angeles, Calif. is voluntarily recalling about 102,000 Flashing Pacifiers with Whistle Necklace and Flashing Pacifier Shock Baby Necklaces. The nipple can detach from the pacifier, posing a choking hazard to young children. 

CPSC, Once Upon a Family Announce Recall of Memory Trunks
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Once Upon a Family, of Irvine, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 1,600 Memory Trunks. The lid can fall on a child who is looking or reaching inside entrapping the child at the neck, which poses a risk of strangulation. Also, the lid can close and self-fasten, entrapping the child inside the trunk, which poses a suffocation hazard. 

CPSC, H & M Announce Recall of Girls Sweaters with Faux Fur Trim
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Dubbster (H & M private label), H & M, of New York, N.Y. is voluntarily recalling about 470 Girls Cardigan Sweaters with Faux Fur Trim. The furry trim on the sweaters is dangerously flammable.

CPSC, Rossignol, and Dynastar Announce Recall of Snowboard Bindings
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Rossignol Ski Company, Inc. and Skis Dynastar, Inc. of Williston, Vermont, is voluntarily recalling about 11,000 pairs of Rossignol and Dynastar snowboard bindings. The baseplate of the binding can break, resulting in loss of control and possible fall and injury to the snowboarder.

CPSC, Curiosity Kits Inc. Announce Recall of Discovery Kids Pottery Wheel Kits Sold at Discovery Channel Stores
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Curiosity Kits Inc. of Hunt Valley, Md., is voluntarily recalling about 150 Discovery Kids Imaginative Arts Pottery Wheel Kits. The brown clay contained in the Pottery Wheel kits could contain excess levels of bacteria, posing a risk of illness to users.

CPSC, K'NEX Industries Announce Recall of Children's Toys
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), K'NEX Industries Inc., of Hatfield, Pa., is voluntarily recalling about 14,000 "Mud Boggers" and "Street Shredders" Pump Up Racers. The air motor in the toy cars can burst while being pumped up, causing parts of the motor or car to break off. Some of these parts can have sharp points and pose a risk of eye or laceration injuries.

CPSC, Kindermusik International Announce Recall of "Lily Pad Clacker" Instruments 
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Kindermusik International, of Browns Summit, N.C., is voluntarily recalling about 430 "Lily Pad Clacker" Instruments. The green coating on the Lily Pad Clacker instruments contain high levels of lead, posing a risk of poisoning to young children.

CPSC, Graco Children's Products Announce Recall of Bumble Bee Toys with Blue Antennae
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Graco Children's Products, Inc. of Exton, Pa., is voluntarily recalling about 398,000 Bumble Bee Toys with blue antennae sold with certain Graco high chairs and Graco mobile entertainers, and also sold separately as an accessory and replacement part. The blue antennae on the Bumble Bee toy can break, posing a choking hazard to young children.

The toys can easily break apart, exposing small parts. This poses a choking hazard to young children.

CPSC, Raymond Geddes Co. Announce Recall of Childrens Necklaces 
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Raymond Geddes Co. Inc., of Baltimore, Md. is voluntarily recalling about 155,000 metallic necklaces. The necklaces contain high levels of lead. CPSC regulations ban children's products from containing high levels of lead due to the risk of lead poisoning resulting from contact with these products. The necklaces also contain a sharp point, posing a laceration hazard to young children.

CPSC, Swing-N-Slide® Corp. Announce Recall of Extra-Duty and Heavy-Duty Swing Seats
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Swing-N-Slide® Corp., of Janesville, Wis. is voluntarily recalling 72,000 extra-duty and heavy-duty swing seats. A manufacturing defect can cause the metal grommet securing the seat to break. If this happens, the user can fall to the ground.

CPSC, First Team Inc. Announce Recall of Basketball Hoops
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), First Team Inc., Hutchinson, Kan. is voluntarily recalling about 7,600 basketball hoops. The bolt attaching the arm to the vertical post can break, causing the backboard to fall and injure someone standing below.

CPSC, Norton McNaughton of Squire, Inc. Announce Recall of Girls Hooded Sweaters with Drawstrings

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Hanna Andersson of Portland, Oregon is voluntarily recalling About 1,900 Childrens Corduroy Overalls. The buttons on the front and side panels of the overalls can detach from the garment, posing a choking hazard to young children. 

CPSC, J.C. Penney Corporation Inc. Announce Recall of Childrens Pajama Sets
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), J.C. Penney Corporation, of Plano, Texas is voluntarily recalling about 41,300 Okie Dokie alligator football pajama sets. The heat-sealed patches on the front of the garment can detach, posing a possible choking hazard to young children. 

CPSC, Answer Products Inc. Announce Recall of Bicycle Suspension Forks
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Answer Products, Inc., Valencia, CA is voluntarily recalling about 8,032 Manitou bicycle suspension forks. The top of the Manitou bicycle suspension fork, when fully compressed, may contact the front tire, resulting in a loss of control of the bicycle and presenting a fall hazard to a bicyclist.

CPSC, Cannondale Bicycle Corp. Announce Recall of Certain Quick-Release Handlebar Bags
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Cannondale Bicycle Corp., of Bethel, Conn. is voluntarily recalling about 2,600 Crossroads and Perimeter handlebar bags. The plastic, handlebar-mounted, quick-release bags can fall off the bicycle while it is being ridden, causing the rider to crash. 

CPSC, Petit Bateau Announce Recall of Childrens Bathrobes 
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Petit Bateau, of Millburn, N.J. is voluntarily recalling about 2,700 childrens bathrobes. These robes fail to meet the childrens sleepwear flammability standards, posing a risk of burn injury to children due to the possible ignition of the garment. 

CPSC, Quality Bicycle Products Announce Recall of Bicycle Forks
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Quality Bicycle Products, Inc., of Bloomington, Minn. is voluntarily recalling about 500 Salsa Campeon Bicycle Forks. The steering tube on the bicycle fork can crack or break, causing a sudden loss of steering control and causing a fall hazard to bicyclists.

CPSC, International Playthings, Inc. Announce Recall of Rattles
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), International Playthings Inc., of Parsippany, N.J. is voluntarily recalling about 1,600 Earlyears® Spirolly Rattle. The spiral section of the rattle can come apart, releasing small balls inside. This can pose a choking hazard to young children.

CPSC, Tai Tung International Recall Car and Washing Machine Toys
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Tai Tung International, Inc., of Los Angeles, Calif. is voluntarily recalling about 128,880 Toy Ice Cream Cars, Police Cars and Washing Machines. The multicolored beads inside the toys can become accessible to children, posing a choking hazard to young children.

CPSC, Sky High International Announce Recall of Care Bears Lunch Kits Sold at Kohls Department Stores
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Sky High International LLC, of New York, N.Y. is voluntarily recalling about 13,000 Care Bears Lunch Kits with Water Bottles. The pull-up drinking spout can detach from the bottle, posing a choking hazard to young children. 

CPSC, Giant Bicycle Inc. Announce Recall of Bicycles 
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Giant Bicycle Inc., of Newbury Park, Calif. is voluntarily recalling about 160 Rainier Mountain Bicycles. The front brake mounting tabs can break, causing the brakes to fail and the rider to lose control of the bicycle.

CPSC, Full Speed Ahead Announce Recall of Scatto Bicycle Wheel Quick Releases
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Full Speed Ahead, Inc. of Woodinville, Washington is voluntarily recalling about 1,375 Bicycle wheel quick releases. An internal part in the lever mechanism can break, reducing clamping effectiveness and rendering the unit inoperable, potentially causing a bicyclist to fall.

CPSC, Specialized Bicycle Components Inc. Announce Recall of Bicycles
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Specialized Bicycle Components Inc., of Morgan Hill, Calif. is voluntarily recalling about 1,500 Bicycles. The handlebar may loosen and turn unexpectedly, which can cause the rider to lose control and fall. 

CPSC, PlayKids USA, Inc. of Brooklyn, N.Y. Announce Recall baby Walkers
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), PlayKids USA, Inc. of Brooklyn, N.Y. is voluntarily recalling about 1,600 baby Walkers. The walkers will fit through a standard doorway and are not designed to stop at the edge of a step. Babies using these walkers can be seriously injured or killed if they fall down stairs. 

CPSC, Sauder Woodworking Co. Announce Recall of TV/VCR Carts
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Sauder Woodworking Co., of Archbold, Ohio is voluntarily recalling about 300,000 TV/VCR carts. The carts can tip over and the television can fall off, posing a risk of serious injury or death if the TV and cart fall on a child.

CPSC, Natura Products Downey Inc. Announce Recall of Pacifiers
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Natura Products Downey Inc., of City of Commerce, Calif. is voluntarily recalling about 9,400 Jaloma pacifiers. The pacifiers are banned under federal law. They failed federal safety tests, come apart, and can pose a choking hazard to infants and small children.

CPSC, Delta Enterprise Corp. Announce Recall to Repair Directors Chairs for Children
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Delta Enterprise Corp., of New York, N.Y. are voluntarily recalling about 81,000 Directors Chairs for children. The chair can inadvertently be misassembled so that the fabric seat can come off the chairs frame and expose metal support rods. If fabric seat comes off the frame, there is a laceration and fall hazard to young children. 

CPSC, Performance Inc. and Supergo Inc. Announce Recall of Bicycle Handlebars
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Performance Inc. and Supergo Inc., of Chapel Hill, N.C. are voluntarily recalling about 300 Forte Flyte OS and Weyless CF200 Carbon Handlebars. The handlebars can develop cracks that may not be visible, which can cause the handlebar to break without warning, resulting in serious injury or death.

CPSC, Regal Lager Announce Recall to Repair Baby Björn Infant Carriers
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Regal Lager Inc., of Kennesaw, Ga. is voluntarily recalling Baby Björn baby carriers. The back support buckle can detach from the shoulder straps, posing a fall hazard to the baby.

CPSC, Hasbro Inc. Announce Recall of Monster Rockets
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Hasbro Inc., of Pawtucket, R.I. is voluntarily recalling about 230,000 Super Soaker Monster Rockets. The cap on the water tank can unexpectedly and forcibly project off when it is quickly unscrewed from the tank, posing a risk of impact injuries to users or bystanders. In addition, the rockets tail can strike a user or bystander on descent, if the rocket is not fully launched, posing a risk of injury. . 

CPSC, Target Announce Recall of Electric Scooters
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Target Corp., of Minneapolis, Minn. is voluntarily recalling approximately 74,811 Leoch Electric Scooters (also known as Red Dragon and E-Scooter). Improper wiring can cause a short circuit, posing a fire hazard in the scooter. In addition, inadequate insulation may expose electrical wiring, which poses a shock hazard. 

CPSC, Regal Lager Inc. Announce Recall to Repair Stroller Attachments
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Regal Lager Inc., of Kennesaw, Ga. is voluntarily recalling approximately 11,500 Lascal Buggy Board stroller attachments. The Buggy Boards red connecting pins can break, causing the board to partially detach from the stroller or carriage, posing a fall hazard to the user. 

CPSC, Aviva Sports Announce Recall to Repair Astroslide Water Slides
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Aviva Sports, of Osage Beach, Mo. is voluntarily recalling approximately 7,500 Astroslide Inflatable Water Slides. These water slides have an excessive length of rope attached to the safety mat that presents a risk of entanglement in the water. This poses a drowning hazard to users.

CPSC, BMW Announce Recall of SlideCarver Scooters
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), BMW of North America, LLC, of Woodcliff Lake, N.J. is voluntarily recalling 161 SlideCarver Scooters. The front column of the scooter does not meet impact resistance standards. The handlebar column can break if the scooter hits an object, which can cause the rider to fall and suffer injuries.

CPSC, PTI Sports Inc. Announce Recall of Schwinn Toddler Bicycle Helmets
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), PTI Sports Inc., of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. is voluntarily recalling about about 9,000 Schwinn-brand Toddler bicycle helmets. The helmets do not comply with impact testing requirements in the Consumer Product Safety Act.

CPSC, TOMY Company Announce Recall of Pokémon Plush Toys
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), TOMY Company and Pokémon Center NY, of New York, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling about 7,400 Pokémon plush dolls, beanbags, and key chains. Tips of sewing needles have been found in the stuffing posing a puncture hazard.

CPSC, HearthSong Announce Recall of Childrens Toy Balls
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), HearthSong Inc., of Madison, Va., is voluntarily recalling about 22,500 Peek-a-Boo Balls. The wooden rings on the holes of the product may crack, allowing the small wooden heads to fall out and pose a choking hazard to young children.

CPSC, Determined Productions Announce Recall of Plush Toys Sold at Kohls Department Stores
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Determined Productions Inc., of Larkspur, Calif., is voluntarily recalling 90,000 Plush Frog Stuffed Animals. The seams in the toy can tear open and expose small plastic pellets, posing a choking or aspiration hazard to young children who mouth the pellets.
