This is a high quality carved set of Chinese Alphabet Blocks that will last a life time. This set features Mandarin simplified Chinese characters and their English equivalents. There is also a stroke grid to learn how to create the characters, numbers and pictures of the pin yin equivalent.

It is also a puzzle featuring a map of China!

Each beautiful block is carved to give depth and added detail to the blocks (here is a little secret...although we refer to the blocks as being carved, the characters are actually formed by a unique pressing process.

Safety is very important to the manufacturer of these terrific blocks. The blocks feature safe beveled edges, and only non-toxic inks are used in coloring the blocks. Unlike similar blocks from other companies, the manufacturer of these blocks takes the added step to chamfer the upright edges of the blocks to eliminate sharp corners and make the blocks more comfortable to hold.
