Arthur & Friends CD

FOR ARTHUR FANS OF ALL AGES!

For the first review of this terrific Arthur audio, we turned to one of our kid reviewers, seven year old Lynn. Our adult perspective follows.

Arthur and his friends got together in Buster's basement and made up these songs. Some of them are true like the time Francine bet Muffy she could be nice for a whole week!

I always listen to this before I go to bed.

My three favorite songs are Meek For A Week...where Francine bets Muffy she can be nice for a whole week. My Dog Pal...a song about arthur's dog Pal which gets all mixed up and nobody knows what the song is about. And last but not least Leftover Goulash...a song about some really disgusting things to eat. If you listen to Leftover Goulash while you eat you'll lose your appetite right away!

There are a lot of good songs like Library Card. It tells you why you should have a library card, things you can do in the library and some things about the library.

Matalij Ja Mustii is ok, but it is in a different languge. I think it is in Spanish or Japanese.You can make some good dances to it!

If your child is an Arthur fan (like I am) you should buy this item.

It will be hard to top Lynn's review. She really loves this cd. And yes, from what we understand, she does listen to it nearly every night before she goes to bed.

The cd starts with the Arthur theme song and is followed by 16 other selections. The music is a nice mix of all styles. And the one thing great about this cd is that adults won't get sick of hearing it over and over. It is actually quite good!

The songs on the tape are very witty and you will get more than one chuckle from this cd. Some of the songs address issues such as going to the library and using a night light. But overall, this is well produced, entertaining, fun cd with some very catchy tunes.

Arthur fans will love this cd regardless of their age. But the real appeal is to older fans (ages 6 to 8) who can appreciate the wit and humor of the songs. We also have a twelve year old tester. She doesn't watch Arthur anymore, but she likes to listen to this cd on occasion too. She thinks some of the songs are really cool. And so do we!

Oh, by the way, the song Matalij Ja Mustii is not Spanish or Japanese...it is Finnish! And yes, it is a great song to dance to, if you have the energy of a seven year old!
