The Poky Little Puppy is a classic Little Golden Book written by Janette Sebring Lowrey and illustrated by Gustaf Tenggren. Children have loved Little Golden Books for over 60 years. All of us have probably written our names on the inside front cover of at least one Golden book in the space that says, "This Little Golden Book belongs to". I know I have, and I know my children have too.

Here at Live And Learn we love classic toys, ones we loved when we were little and the ones our own children loved. Golden Books are one of those timeless classics which span the years and it makes us thrilled to be able to offer them to the next generation.

The Poky Little Puppy measures approximately 7-1/2 inches. He has white fur with brown spots and looks like the Poky Puppy in the illustrations in the book. He is nice and soft and just waiting to become a child's best friend. The Poky Little Puppy plush is manufactured by Yottoy, a company which knows toys backwards and forwards. Afterall their name is "toy" spelled backwards and forwards.

This soft plush puppy is very cute and would be loved even if you didn't know it was the same puppy as the one in the classic Golden Book. But, that's not an issue since we are also including a copy of the hardcover Little Golden Book so your little one can write their name on the inside of the front cover and continue the Golden Book tradition.
