Great States Board Game

Winner of the prestigious Oppenheim Portfolio Gold Seal, Great States is a terrific, fun game which teaches children a whole lot of interesting trivia and facts about the United States. This is a fast paced, enjoyable educational game. Yes, Great States teaches, as it entertains!

Children (and adults) can test their knowledge of state landmarks, state locations, state capitals and other facts. For instance, what is the capital of New Jersey? Or where is the Football Hall of Fame? Can you tell me what state touches two Great Lakes?

Those are just a few of the hundreds of questions players are asked as they journey around the United States discovering state attractions, state landmarks, state abbreviations, state locations and much more. Not only are all the answers somewhere on the game board (map), there are game variations which can be played (so younger children and advanced players can both compete).

The key to the game is having to search the board carefully for the answers. By doing so, players begin learning United States geography and facts. But the timer is ticking. The fun begins because the the race is on...be the quickest to find the answers and be the winner!

Game includes a sturdy, large size game board (map), four hundred question cards, a game spinner, a mechanical timer and game rules.
