This is an excellent preschool game by Briarpatch games. Inspired by the Maisy book series by Lucy Cousins, the Maisy Game is a terrific matching game that helps children learn colors, spell simple words and much more. If you use your imagination, you can go beyond the normal rules of the game and use this game as a great teaching tool.

The basic game play is to spin the spinner to collect colored shapes and a Maisy figure that match your board. Collect all 7 playing pieces for your board and you win the game.

The Maisy Game is simple to play, but fun and educational. Besides teaching color recognition and matching skills, this game helps develop manual dexterity, creativity and imagination. And a creative and imaginative adult can use the Maisy Game to discuss the animals, toys and other items on the cards.

The Maisy Game includes: 4 playing boards; 24 shapes in 6 colors; 1 spinner; and 4 Maisy figures.
