Rack-O

Good things come in small boxes, and Rack-O certainly lives up to that claim. Rack-O has been providing great family fun for over 5o years. This is one of those games which is equally challenging and fun for children and adults alike.

In fact, my wife and I have been playing Rack-O for as long as I can remember, and now we play it with our children too! We don't have an original Rack-O set from 50 years ago, but the set we have is quite old. It is a fun game that is easy to play, and it really is a great family game. 

Rack-O comes with four plastic card racks, a deck of 60 Rack-O cards and instructions. Each card is clearly numbered from 1 to 60. Ten cards are dealt to each player and they are placed in the rack in the order in which they are dealt. The object of the game is to position your cards in numerical sequence from lowest to highest.

Since the cards are initially inserted in random order you can expect to have some low numbers at the back of the rack and conversely higher numbers near the front. As you draw cards you can either replace one of your out of order cards or discard it until all ten of your cards are in numerical sequence.

Rack-O is simple, but you'll need some skillful playing, concentration and maybe a little luck to be the winner. Be the person to get all 10 cards in sequence first, and you get to yell out RACK-O!

Simple, but fun. If you have children, a great family bonding game. If you have young children, a great game to help them reinforce their number sequencing. Rack-O! We love it!!!
