The acoustic guitar we are featuring is not a toy. It is made of "real" wood and is an authentic instrument made by one of the best known musical instruments companies in the world...Hohner!

This guitar is a half size guitar, which means it is scaled down to fit a child's small hands and body. It is approximately 30 inches in length. It has nylon strings, a solid wooden neck, a polished body with a nice matte finish, metal machine heads, raised metal frets and white dot position markers.

The action on the guitar is low and easy, which means that a beginning student will find it easy to form chords on it. And it is built to take the abuse a child will put it through. Sure it may scratch after time, but the mechanics (the parts which really matter) such as the bridge, neck, tuners and frets will hold up very, very well.

Included with the guitar is an easy-to-follow instruction booklet and a set of color coding markers. You can place the color markers on the guitar (directions are in the instruction book) and then your child can use the booklet's easy to follow color coding system to learn where to put their fingers to play songs.

Important Note 1: Please inspect the guitar upon arrival. Although this guitar is sold as a final sale without return privleges, you can expect to receive a factory fresh guitar ready for playing. If the guitar arrives damaged in shipment let us know within 7 days and we will resolve any problems to your satisfaction without haste!

Important Note 2: Keep in mind, (we don't want you to have any surprises) these are excellent, brand new factory fresh children's guitars--straight from Hohner to us to you...but they are not top-of-the-line-professional guitars with a highly polished and blemish-free craftsman's finish. They far are better than what you would expect for the price, but they are not flawless museum pieces (what is these days?). If you can live with a less than perfect staining job at the factory, we are sure your child won't care, then this is a great deal!
