Description

Sand Blocks are a traditional rhythm instrument consisting of two wooden blocks with knobs. The surface of one side of the the wooden block is covered with a sheet of fine sandpaper. When blocks are rubbed together they make a scratching sound. Sand blocks can also be banged together or used in a combination of banging and rubbing to produce sounds. The sand blocks measure 5 inches by 3 inches.

Recommended for ages 3 and up.
