Swiss Melodee Bells are a tradition in schools around the world, and the set we feature is the one often found in those schoolrooms. In fact, I am pretty sure these are the same Swiss Melodee Bells I used as a child in school during the 1950's...am I dating myself or what!

Melodee Bells are used to teach music appreciation to children of all ages. This set of 8 individual bells are scientifically tuned from F to F.

The bells have a dual construction. The metal bell, which has true pitch, is safely housed inside a child friendly, plastic sound chamber that is molded into its permanent color.

The set even includes a small music sheet to teach the instructor or child how to play more than a dozen songs including classic beginner songs such as Twinkle Little Star and Mary Had A Little Lamb...more advanced songs like Largo and Finlandia...and holiday songs like Jingle Bells and Noel--by note, letter, or number.

For the youngest musician, many teachers use highlighters, crayons or colored pencils to color the notations in the songbook to add the option of playing by color!

It is so easy to learn, even I can play songs with this set!
