Lauri Lace-A-Pet puppets are more fun than a barrel full of monkeys! This kit includes enough precut felt for 3 animal puppets (teddy bear, dog and cat), yarn for lacing, 3 plastic ball-tipped needles, remnant felt for decorating and instructions. All you need to add are scissors, child-safe white glue and your imagination. The precut felt has 3 fronts and 3 backs and already has the holes for easy lacing.

You can make colorful and fun puppets with the materials provided with the Lace A Pet set, but you can also add items you have around the house like buttons, glitter, fabrics, string, etc, to make your own very special pet pals. A great way to make use of the some of the leftover materials from your prior craft projects.

Making the puppets will engage children while they create just the right look for their animal. And, once they've made the puppet, it can be used for even more imaginative play. Unlike many craft projects, these puppets will be played with long after they have been created.
