Tangrams Plus by Lauri Toys is based on the ancient Chinese tangram puzzles that have challenged great minds for thousands of years. For those of you unfamiliar with tangram puzzles, they are puzzles which use seven special shapes to build an infinite number of designs.

Well, Tangrams Plus by Lauri have the seven special shapes which are needed for traditional tangram puzzles, but it also includes additional shapes to inspire creativity and challenge children even more!

Tangrams Plus is designed to develop spatial relations skills and critical thinking. Development of these skills are as important for developing "the whole child" as computer skills are important to growing minds.

The set includes 22 progressively challenging pattern boards to stimulate a child's problem-solving skills. Also included are 20 two-toned rubber tangram shapes, solution cards, and suggested activities.

The set comes nicely packaged in a handy storage/travel box with handle.
