Description

Madeline at the White House

Made In The United States

This is also a "Green" product!

At first we were going to be like every other web site, and simply use the manufacturer's description. Go to other sites and you will see they all have the same description..."Madeline and her friends are off to extraordinary adventures while visiting their new friend..." blah, blah blah.

But we are not like every other site. We actually open, test, play and examine most of the items we sell. And here is what what we think of Madeline At The White House!

To begin, the game is made here in the United States by Briarpatch. Briarpatch games are made from high quality materials, and they even replace lost pieces. Their games are educational, fun, and made from recyled materials.

Madeline At The White House is a cool game. Briarpatch calls it a “get up and play” game...rather than the children sitting around a game board and moving pieces, the children are the pieces and the game board is the floor in your room!

It is a fun game that has children moving around the room to different landmarks of Washington, D.C., which you have placed around the room.

The play is simple, but fun. And it will introduce children to some of the United State's most famous landmarks (don't worry, the game comes with a little background information you can pass along to the children).

The game comes with instructions for two types of game play, and if you use your imagination you may think of additional ways to play.

Our favorite rule is needing to remember to say "Pooh-Pooh" as you pass the tiger at the National Zoo!

Contents: 8 big Washington, D.C. landmark cards, 4 magic carpet score boards, spinner, rules for cooperative and competitive ways to play.

Ages 4 and up.

2 to 4 players.
