The preceding sentence was taken from the manufacturer's sales pitch to appeal to adults...obviously written by a marketing novice trying to be cute...truth is, babies have no idea what the picture should look like, but they do get to experience different pattern and color changes as the toy is twisted. Is that beneficial for a three month old? Who knows? But the truth is, this is a fun toy with a nice concept and many features.

Some of the real features are its many textures, colors and satin tags to explore. It has an easy-grab rattle ring,  a built in mirror and other features that will assist baby's sensory development.
