Potholder Looms And Loops
POTHOLDER MAKING SETS - BAGS OF LOOPS -
Complete Selection Of Looms And Loops Shown Below
BUT FIRST SOME INFORMATION
It's fun and easy to weave useful, long lasting potholders with one of our loom kits. Each kit features an old fashioned metal loom, high quality colorful cotton loops, two special loom hooks and illustrated instructions. Our young and old product testers had no problem making potholders with our loom sets.
The metal loom included in our kits cannot be compared to the plastic looms you find in toy stores or discount stores. Our loom is a very sturdy metal loom. The kind which was popular many, many years ago!
Our potholder kits help children develop fine motor control, finger dexterity and concentration. It is a creative and fun activity that builds self-confidence and a sense of accomplishment. But the kits are not just for children. Many older adults are taking up potholder making as a hobby. In fact, some of our regular customers are creative adults making such beautiful designs and patterns they are selling them at craft fairs and on the ETSY website!
By the way, the loops that come with our sets (and which we sell individually) are made specifically for our loom!
Most potholder loops (believe it or not) are a by-product from the manufacturing of socks. That's the reason why a bag of loops may have a mixture of loops in crazy sizes. But our loops are designed and manufactured specifically for our metal potholder looms. Yes, our loops are made for our looms!
Below is our great selection of potholder kits and supplies. We have a Traditional Starter and Deluxe Potholder Kit that includes everything needed to begin this great activity. We also feature a Pro Loom Kit that includes a larger loom for bigger potholders and other projects. And of course, we have additional bags of loops in many colors for both size looms.
And talking about colors, keep in mind that the colors you see online are not always the colors you see in person. Not only do dye lots change, your monitor settings, the angle you look at your monitor and how the picture was originally photographed all determine the color you see on your computer.
Think of when you go into a store that sells televisions, and every set is tuned to the same station...the colors you see can vary a lot from TV to TV. That is the same here.
And also, some of the colors may not be exactly what you imagine...the pink loops are a very deep color, the dark navy blue is almost black, and the yellow loops have an orange/gold hue to them. If you have any questions, give us a call and we will try to help you choose the correct color for your needs.
